PeeCee to be honoured at Toronto Film Festival


LOS ANGELES: Actress Priyanka Chopra is likely to get award at The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) that will take place on September 6. As per the reports, PeeCee will be the guest of honour at the fundraiser event.

In 42nd edition of TIFF, the event at Bell Lightbox will star Priyanka in discussion with festival artistic director Cameron Bailey. She’s likely to discuss about her career as a Bollywood icon ahead segueing into Hollywood.

Recently, she made her Hollywood debut with “Baywatch”, after the success of films “Mary Kom” and “What’s Your Raashee”.

In 2016, Priyanka Chopra collaborated with “Selma” director Ava DuVernay and associate actors James Franco and Ben Richardson to make short films jury for a TIFF award ceremony.

The actress will be honoured at Toronto film festival 2017 for her activism.

The film festival will aids fund talent development events at the Canadian festival to receive more women at the back and in front of the camera.
