A search operation for suspicious armed men was held in border district of Punjab for the second day on Wednesday. The attack took place in Indian Airforce base of Pathankot in January.
In the hilly areas of Bhadroya, a investigation was conducted by the Punjab Police and Himachal Pradesh. The police officials covered the area of nearly 5-6 km of forest area in search operation.
On Wednesday, around 50 Himachal Police did investigation for the suspicious mens but till now nothing has been found. “We continued with our search operation today (Wednesday). However, nothing suspicious has been found so far,” Pathankot SSP Rakesh Kaushal said.
“We extended our search operation with the help of the Himachal Police towards in small hills of Bhadroya area,” he said.
On Tuesday, a investigation was carried out in the city. Various police check posts have been set up near the IAF airbase.
