Try not to hurt your legs! Avoid bruises and scrapes and in case you have scars, use aloe vera gel. You can also use some olive oil regularly on the affected area to lighten them.
The knees starts looking darker when they get dry. Make sure to exfoliate your legs at least twice a week especially your knees alone every alternate day. Use a water-based body lotion for your knees to moisturize them. At night rub lemon juice on your knees, leave for 10 minutes, then rinse and pat dry.
Apart from this, keep your lower body and legs fit by working out regularly. Exercises like swimming, Pilates, cycling, jogging, squats and yoga are ideal to keep your legs strong and shapely.
Last but not the least, get a pedicure once a week in case you wear slippers. Apply Vitamin E-rich oil all over your feet at night, and then put on a pair of cotton socks before you sleep.
