SRINAGAR: An encounter with a group of terrorist who are stowing away inside an government institution in Pampore, 15 km from Srinagar, has extended for well over a day. Blasts and gunshots are being heard frequently from inside and around the building, used to offer specialized preparing to youth Kashmiri’s.
An armed force officer was harmed in the initial firing yesterday. The data being shared here is postponed so as not to risk the security strengths battling the terrorist .
Officials said the encounter has stretched on because the building offers a “bunker-like” protection to the terrorists. Seemingly well-stocked in ammunition and supplies, they have demonstrated a willingness to hold out and prolong the operation.
