WASHINGTON: A 7-year-old Pakistani kid was purportedly whipped by five classmates on a school transport in the US for being a Muslim, an occurrence that has constrained his family to move back to Pakistan dreading "Donald Trump's America".
The guardians of Abdul Usmani have charged that he was harassed and beaten by five understudies on the transport while returning home from Weatherstone Elementary School in Cary, North Carolina, as they made references to Muslims and the kid's Pakistani legacy.
"Welcome to the United States of America of Donald Trump," Zeeshan-ul-hassan Usmani inscribed a Facebook photograph demonstrating his child, Abdul, with his left arm in a sling.
"He is in review 1, harassed and beaten by his own cohorts in school transport for being a Muslim," Usmani said.
Usmani told BuzzFeed News that he his better half alongside their three children have left the US for Pakistan after this most recent episode in a long history of separation towards his kids and family.
"These are six and seven year old children calling him names, with one child punching him in the face, while two different children assaulted him, kicked him, and kept his arms down," Usmani said.
He depicted his child "as American as you can get".
"They continue beating him the distance from school to home on the transport," Usmani said of the kid's ride home last Friday.
Abdul, his dad said, is damaged by the assault and has a sprained arm.
Lisa Luten, a representative for the Wake County Public School System, was cited as saying that the main of the school instantly started exploring the charged occurrence after the family informed them regarding it.
"(The main) talked with seven understudies sitting close to this kid, and none of the understudies, nor the transport driver, saw any sort of fight or occurrence," Luten said, including that the primary has one more youngster to meet and has not possessed the capacity to get in contact with the Usmani family since Friday.
