Pakistan: Bomb Explosion kill 7, wounded 23 near Balochistan Assembly


Nearly 7 people died and 23 others injured on Tuesday in a blast that occurred in the centre of Pakistani city of Quetta, Balochistan.

The accused attacked the cop truck nearby high security area where the provincial assembly and government offices are situated. As per senior police officer Abdul Razzaq Cheema, suicide bomber attacked the truck and kill him too, senior police officer Abdul Razzaq Cheema told Reuters.

The victims were taken to the Civil Hospital for treatment immediately after the incident. The death toll could rise as some of the wounded were in critical condition.

The incident occurred after the provincial chief minister Sanaullah Zehri left his position.  Zehri resigned after few associates of his PML Nawaz party fight back against him in the provincial assembly.
