Ornaments and cash worth Rs. 3.12 lakh were stolen from bungalow of Shiv Sena leader


Unidentified people professedly evacuated with trimmings and money worth over Rs. 3 lakh from the bungalow of a Shiv Sena leader in Thane while she alongside her family was off to Aurangabad for campaigning for the local body surveys, police said.

The home of Shiv Sena leader Meena Maruti Rathod in Dombivali territory was likewise ransacked and set on fire, an authority attached to Manpada police headquarters said.

The leaders were occupied with battling Aurangabad region's Kannad for a nearby body decision, slated to be hung on December 18. Her family was additionally in Kannad, said the authority.

According to the protest documented by Ms Rathod, she was educated about the occurrence by her neighbors, the authority included.

Trimmings and money worth Rs. 3.12 lakh were stolen, police said, including a case under applicable segments of IPC has been enrolled in such manner.
