There is also a massive fossilized tree trunk which is believed to be around 20 million years old. The gardens will take you close to the nature and you will enjoy the comfort here. It has so many lawns, ponds, flower beds and gardens, which re divided into six sections namely new garden, italian garden, nursery, lower garden, flower bed garden and fountain terrace.

The beautiful rose park is located in Ooty should be visited between the months of Mayand July when a large number of flowers are blossoming here. There are terraced lawns and beautiful flowerbeds which offer a pleasant experience to the visitors. The park offers wonderful views to the visitors.
The Thread Garden is located in ooty which will offer you an unusual exhibition where you will be thrilled to see the views. There are more than 150 species of flowers and plants, collected from all over the world and have been recreated using hand wound thread. This is a technique that was perfected by Anthony Joseph was Keralan artist and the entire work took 12 years to complete when 50 craftsmen worked on it.
Jolly World is a nice amusement park in Ooty for the people who want to enjoy through various rides. Couples find this place special and some of them enjoy the go carting experience. The place is often crowded on the weekends as a number of people visit here on holidays.
