Kollywood on-screen character Arun Vijay was confined for rash and tipsy driving after his auto collided with a stopped police vehicle at around 3.40am in Nungambakkam on Saturday. Nobody was harmed in the mishap which happened before Nungambakkam police headquarters.
Police said the on-screen character was returning home after a capacity and his auto slammed into a stopped beat explorer when he swerved to abstain from hitting an auto which was coming the other way. He got away unhurt as air sacks swelled. He got into an autorickshaw and left the spot before police who surged out of the station listening to the commotion could recognize him.
