Ola cab driver arrested for molesting Delhi Judge


New Delhi: A 40 year old Ola cab driver has been arrested by Delhi police on Thursday after misbehaving with the additional session’s judge. The judge had booked the cab last Saturday and following the alleged misbehavior, an FIR was registered on her complaint at north Delhi’s Roop Nagar police station.

The driver, identified as Sandeep, was arrested from Gurgaon and booked on charges of outraging the modesty of the woman among others on the basis of a complaint by the additional session’s judge in Tis Hazari court.

The complaint was lodged on Wednesday, following which a case under IPC sections 354 A (making sexually coloured remarks), 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult modesty of a woman) and 427 (mischief causing damage to the amount of fifty rupees) was registered at Roop Nagar Police Station and the driver was arrested, said a senior police officer.
