Mumbai: The notices have been issued to actors Aamir Khan and Ranveer Singh by the Central Board of Excise and Custom in order to seek information about their income.
Both of them were told to reveal their salaries and income which they receive from their producers. Moreover, the board has also told Production houses including Yash Raj Films and Salman Khan Films to give detail information about them.
The investigation is in process by the service tax department especially among 'high-profile' tax defaulters. The main focus of the department is on the Bollywood industry because Bollywood constantly grown into a huge money-making industry.

CBEC will further do the investigation of the major films like Ek Tha Tiger, Dhoom 3, PK, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Bajirao Mastani, and Sultan, reports said.
Just few months back, actor Shah Rukh Khan also got the notice from Income Tax department to give a detail about his investments in overseas countries.
