No club needs to feel threatened by the roadmap, says Praful Patel

Praful Patel, the All India Football Federation (AIFF) president, expressed that he recorded the positives and negatives of the proposed guide for Indian football to FIFA President Gianni Infantino as the eventual fate of Indian football was being reflected upon at the round table meet. He went to claim that no club must feel debilitated at this phase about their future as the AIFF wishes to mull over everybody's interests before choosing the last strategy.

"In our own presentation to FIFA, we have spelt out the advantages and disadvantages and the challenges, issues to be tended to before and official choice is come to. There has been a ton of discuss when is it going to happen and how, who will be influenced and not. Be that as it may, I raised the issue of legacy clubs having such an awesome history and their commitment to Indian football.

"In this way, we ought not accomplish something that damages them too. It is work in advancement and let us not make conclusions. No one needs to feel debilitated at this phase about his club's presence. We will take everyone along regardless of the fact that we do it gradually yet will do it most likely," said Patel.
