NEW DELHI: Indian cricket team wins by six-wickets against Bangladesh on Thursday in their second Twenty20 International match of the Nidahas Trophy Tri-Series held at the R Premadasa Stadium.
Player Shikhar Dhawan clinched his second fifty on Thursday to help India win against the opponent team in Colombo. His innings comprised of 55 runs off 43 balls including five fours and two sixes.
Bangladesh team gave a target of 140 runs to Indians yesterday which was easily chased by them in 18.4 overs. Bowlers Rubel Hossain (2/24), Taskin Ahmed (1/28) and Mustafizur Rahman (1/31) took wickets of Indians.
Prior, Jaydev Unadkat (3/38) and Vijay Shankar (2/32) took five wickets to help India win against Bangladesh. Rohit Sharma scored 17 runs in 13 balls including three fours.
Manish Pandey clinched 27 off 19 balls not out while Dinesh Karthik scored 2 runs not out. From the beginning of match, Indian bowlers showed their great side after captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bowl.
