NGO of Pakistani Singer Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan Raided In Delhi


NEW DELHI: The Delhi Police’s Crime Branch and Income Tax department carried out a raid on Thursday at the office of an NGO run by famous Pakistani singer Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan in Delhi.

“Monu Kohli and Rakesh Gupta work as managers with the singer while running an NGO ‘Routes to Roots’ in Hauz Khas area of south Delhi”, the police said.

“During the raid, both were not available in the NGO office,” said Joint Commissioner of Police, Crime Branch, Ravindra Yadav.

The CD’s was sent to the Income Tax Department by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The raid was conducted in his office following demonetization of high value currency notes.

The sting operations did by the investigation groups of news channels on the Pakistani artists to demonstrate how black money is utilized to break deals with these artistes.
