New Delhi bus service to Leh opened again, one way ticket Rs 1,365


Shimla : The Himachal Road Transportation Corporation once again had started the bus facilities from New Delhi to Leh in Jammu and Kashmir.

The officials stated that, “We had started the facilities of to and fro bus service from Delhi to Leh in Ladakh divisions. This non-stop journey will take around 33 hours.”

 The luxury bus facility will link routes of Manali in Himachal Pradesh and will restart from 1 July, more than six months after it was discontinued in winters, Vijay Sharma general manager of tourism department said.

The bus which consists of 35 seats will leave Manali at 11 am every alternate day and will arrive in Leh the next evening after covering 475 kms.

 It will make an overnight halt at Keylong in Lahaul- spiti district to leave at 4 am the next morning. The bus crosses four mountain passes in Himachal and Jammu and Kashmir- Rohtang Pass, Lachungla Pass, Baralacha Pass and Tanglanga pass.
