Suniel Shetty, Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal starrer ‘Hera Pheri’ discharged in 2000, and figured out how to leave the audience in parts with their insane banter. Owing to the success of the film, the producers chosen to transform it into a franchise and released a continuation titled ‘Phir Hera Pheri’ in 2006.
The makers likewise went on declare ‘Hera Pheri 3’, however, with director Neeraj Vora suffering a massive stroke in October a year ago, the film since then has been put on hold.
In a recent meeting with a leading newspaper, Suniel talked about the third instalment of the film and stated, “‘Hera Pheri’ is a huge franchise, one of the first couple of movies to have had a successful sequel (‘Phir Hera Pheri’, 2006). All the characters — Raju (Akshay Kumar), Shyam (Suniel) and Babu Bhai (Paresh Rawal) — have remained with the audience and there is a brand recall. As co-stars as well, we get along like a house on fire. We should make it [part 3] for fans.”
Discussing Neeraj, Suniel stated, “I trust he is improving now. When he is fit, we will roll out the film.”
Aside from ‘Hera Pheri 3’, Suniel will be next seen in Sidharth Malhotra-Jacqueline Fernandez starrer ‘Reload’. Discussing his character in the film, Suniel stated, “I play a grey character. I can’t speak much about it, however it’s a perfect comeback film. I am playing my age and had a great deal of fun.”
