Navy expelled four sailors from INS Sandhayak after indiscipline charges


New Delhi : Exhibiting a rare episode of insubordination in Indian Navy, four sailors, who were sent on INS Sandhayak in Bay of Bengal, were expelled from the survey ship for assaulting an officer. The episode occurred on off Paradip of Odisha drift. The sailors were airlifted by a helicopter.

According to media reports, these sailors were assigned a task, yet they didn’t perform. It was purportedly said that one of the sailors was made a request to take after the senior’s summon which he didn’t take after and attempted to communicate something specific of resistance.

At the point when the senior officer moved toward him, he began acting up with the senior. Indeed, his partners too began whipping the officer. A couple of minutes after the fact, a helicopter was gotten that transported them.

A probe has been ordered into the matter and the four sailors would have to face disciplinary charges.
