Mysuru: Four killed in road mishap


Ranjan Solanki (25), whose wedding was planned for April, and was caught up with welcoming friends and relatives, in a road accident alongside three other relatives near Hunsur, around 160 kms far from Bengaluru late on Saturday.

Rajan, who was at the wheel, lost control over his four-wheeler, fort endeavour, while arranging a bend near Nallurpala in Hunsur bringing about tragic incident. Around eight were en route to Nagarahole Forest when the disaster occurred around 5 pm.

His relatives Shivaji Ghorpade (49), Kaushik Chauvan (32) and Kirshore Yadav (35) died on spot while Chandrashekar, Yashavan RAo, Vijay Ghorpade and Ravi Solanki got away demise with minor wounds. They’re all occupants in various parts of Bengaluru. An aggregate of eight people were going in the car and state of four others are steady and out of peril.

Hunsur inspector Dharmendra said Solanki’s wedding was planned on April 29 and his relatives were busy inviting people for the wedding. The family went to different places near Mysuru and furthermore to Rajan’s uncle house in Hunsur before arranging a visit to Nagarahole backwoods for touring as they were near the national park.

The family earlier had lunch at Chowdi Katte at a relative’s home before leaving to the forest.
