After a city-based youth died under mysterious conditions in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, where he was working as a household help, his relatives are attempting to have his mortal remains conveyed to the country. They asserted that his employment agent was requesting Rs 3 lakh to send the body to India, and have looked for the intercession of Mysuru MP Pratap Simha in the issue.
Shabir, 27, the only child of Wazir Saab and Dilshad, was an inhabitant of Vidyaranyapuram. Nine months back, with the assistance of a distant relative Khaleel, Shabir entered the service of a sheik in Dammam in Saudi Arabia.
Shabir’s relative Aftab Ahmad Khan said, “Khaleel has been working as a mechanic in Saudi Arabia for as far back as 12 years. He helped Shabbir land a position in Saudi Arabia, for a month to month salary of Rs 22,000.”
Shabir’s relatives presume foul play. They charged that a dispute broke out amongst Shabir and Khaleel on Saturday over another costly phone that the previous had obtained. “We presume both of them more likely than not got into a battle, prompting Shabir’s demise,” a relative brought up.
Ahmad Khan stated, “Khaleel called me late on Saturday night to reveal to me that Shabir had conferred suicide.He said that Shabir had hanged himself in his live with the assistance of a vest.”
Ahmad Khan said Shabir’s phone had not been reachable since Saturday night. His companions sent photos of Shabir hanging in his room to his relatives. “We can see Shabir’s legs touching the ground in these photos, which is the reason we presume unfairness,” Ahmad Khan said. He said Khaleel called the family at 3am on Sunday. “He said that Shabir’s body would be sent to Mysuru if the family consented to send him Rs 3 lakh,” Ahmad Khan included.
The family met Simha on Sunday, and asked him to converse with the specialists worried to help bring Shabir’s body home. DC D Randeep told, the relatives “If the relatives approach me, I will converse with the authorities in the service of outside issues, and orchestrate the body to be conveyed to India.”
