The volunteers of aid organization Muslim Aid UK prepared the world’s biggest samosa of 153.1 kilogrammes recently and break all the records. They fried it in a specially made container at an East London mosque.
On Youtube, Guinness World Records shared a video disclosing how it was prepared by the volunteers.
The method of preparing giant samosa was also revealed by authority Guinness World Records adjudicator Pravin Patel on the social media.
“It’s got to be triangular; contain flour, potatoes, onions and peas; be fried, and retain the shape when cooked,” he explained. “It’s got to look and feel like a samosa. Plus, it all has to be eaten. No wastage!” he stated.
The volunteers prepared 153.1 kilogrammes samosa in just 15 hours. It comprised of 100 kilogrammes of potatoes, 25 kilos onions, 15 kilos peas, 44 kilos flour and some Indian spices.
