Tiger Shroff’s film with debutante Niddhi Aggerwal is doing better than average business in the cinema world. The latest report on BoxofficeIndia.com suggests that the film has earned Rs 21 crore nett over the three days of its first weekend. This is an interesting collection considering the way that the film was riding on the shoulders of three-film-old Tiger and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s brilliant cinematic experience.
The dance flick earned an estimated Rs 6.50-6.75 crore on day one and saw a minimal dip in its second-day collections with a total of Rs 6 crore. It went ahead to collect Rs 8 crore on Sunday, thus taking its estimated total to Rs 21 crore nett.
The story traces how Munna achieves his dream of keeping the fire of pop icon Michael Jackson alive. ‘Munna Michael’ is Tiger’s third outing with director Sabbir Khan after “Heropanti” and ‘Baaghi’.
Interestingly, Sabbir shared that Nawazuddin Siddiqui agreed to come on board the Tiger Shroff starrer even before he could complete his script. The ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ actor admits he was at first hesitant to hit the dance floor, but he finally agreed to do so. Sabbir likewise shared that both Tiger and Nawaz practiced a lot prior to the film’s shoot.
As per reports, it was Nidhhi’s dancing skills that landed her this part inverse Tiger. The on-screen character has trained in ballet and has been dancing since her childhood. Nidhhi is reportedly even a good friend of Tiger’s sister Krishna. She has additionally learnt belly dancing and Kathak
