IPL Franchise Mumbai Indians is ready to hold on to its skipper Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya in 2018 IPL squad. On the other hand, Delhi Daredevils may retain players Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer in their team before IPL sell-off on January 27. The final date of accession for the player holding is January 4.
“Skipper Rohit Sharma is a repeated retention having headed the squad to three IPL matches. Hardik Pandya is one of the prominent match- victors and the motivating third preservation would be Krunal Pandya,” a senior BCCI authority affirmed.
“MI has been the main advocate of five withholdings. These five are their heart group of match victors and it will be shocking if they move away from this plan,” the BCCI authority affirmed. On the other hand, Delhi Team has not yet decided about their players who will retain in the game.
As per the official, Steve Smith is likely to be retained by Rajasthan Royals following having played for two years in Rising Pune Supergiants team.
Players including Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja might retain in Chennai Super Kings squad.
