"We received a phone call from residents of a building in PMGP Colony about a foul odour emanating from a room. When we forced the door open, the bodies of a man and a woman were found on the bed. There were no apparent external injuries," an official from the MIDC police said.

The room on the third floor of the building, where the bodies were found, belongs to a lawyer. He has been summoned by the police for making inquiries. "The identities of the couple are being established and their families will be informed" the official said. The couple was in their thirties. Their bodies were sent for a post mortem examination. The MIDC police recorded two accidental deaths.
