Mulayam is angry with me not Ram Gopal: Akhilesh Yadav


New Delhi: Previous Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav has also conveyed that, his father Mulayam Singh Yadav was annoyed with him and not with Ram Gopal Yadav. On Thursday Akhilesh was conversing at a birthday party organized in the Yadav tribe’s home turf of Saifai for Ram Gopal who turned 71.

Mulayam and his brother Shivpal singh yadav gave the event a miss. The Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh has also further added that, I know why he didn’t come, he is annoyed with me more than anybody else. Ram Gopal, a cousin of Mulayam, sided with Akhilesh as he clash a public battle for party control with his father and Shivpal.

Akhilesh grasped the party from father and got himself chosen the president in the run-up to the February-March election that concluded catastrophically for the SP. As the party did not split officially, the two camps clash over the election symbol that was ultimately allotted to Akhilesh’s side.

Mulayam and Shivpal have liable Ram Gopal for the dispute, even condemning him of being close to the BJP, which destroy the SP to brush to power in the India’s most populous state. Former CM Akhilesh further conveyed that, he has saved the party and its election symbol.

Akhilesh also took on the Yogi Adityanath administration, daring it to “match his record” by enlarging the Lucknow Expressway, which he got built in 23 months, to Balia in 22 months.
