Plot and Storyline:

The sexy looks and surly attitude of John Abraham will take your breath away.

In the movie, John Abrahan plays the character of police officer “Kabir”. He’s the kind of man who smokes in an elevator, puts an unsuspecting man’s life at risk and kicks the poor guy out for asking him to stub it out.

India’s top batsman — kind of a mix between Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, let us call him Viraj Sharma — has been kidnapped days before a crucial match with Pakistan. But not to worry, top cops John Abraham and Varun Dhawan are on the job in Dishoom. They will scour the entire Middle East — harems, sand-filled bazaars and chrome skyscrapers — to find the man and retain India’s cricketing glory. Dishoom captures the 36 hours of chase and has been captured in real time.

But before cricket can begin, John and Varun will find time to pose in their briefs, share a raging bromance and sing songs. They will also offer enough cliches and quips to last you a lifetime. You will also see Akshay Kumar in a man-bun. Once you have seen that, you cannot unsee it for the rest of your life. Jacqueline Fernandez will enter the film as a drug addict on the mend who has skills which are usually seen in US Marines. You will see Parineeti Chopra with six-pack abs.

You will also see Akshaye Khanna after a long, long time. He is the bad guy here who wants to sully India’s cricket record on the field — and against Pakistan, no less — for *a lot of* grubby money. John and Varun will take care of him while ensuring you are entertained. Watch out for a helicopter chase sequence which the makers are claiming as India’s most expensive stunt sequence.

While the story of Dishoom offers nothing new, there has been a lot of focus on the treatment. John and Varun’s buddy cops have swagger to spare.
