Motorola to unveil Moto C Plus handset in India on June 19


Lenovo-owned company Motorola is all set to launch budget smartphone Moto C Plus on June 19 in India at an event. The cellphone carries price tag of Rs 5,999 and it can be purchased offline. Moto C and Moto C Plus handsets were unveiled in May in Latin America, Europe and Asia Pacific.

Coming to Moto C Plus specifications, the cellphone has 5-inch display that comes with a HD pixel resolution of 720 x 1280. It boasts 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU. The smartphone features 1GB or 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage that can be expandable using microSD card to up to 32 GB.

The handset has rear camera of 8MP that comes with f/2.2 aperture. On the front, it has 2MP camera and f/2.8 aperture. The cellphone can be purchased in Metallic Cherry, Pearl White, Fine Gold, and Starry Black color options.

On the other hand, Moto C Plus involves 4,000mAh removable battery. It has dual-SIM 4G VoLTE and it runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. Moto C Plus cellphone carries price tag of €119 (approx $133 / Rs 8,500).
