Moto G4 vs Moto G4 Plus vs Moto G4 Play Review


American Multinational Telecom Company Motorola has taken decision to launch Moto G smartphones this "mid-summer 2016": the Moto G4, Moto G4 Plus and Moto G4 Play.

The company assure that these smartphones will provide noteworthy performance along with a ton of nifty features.

Moto G4

Motorola says that the Moto G4 comes with "great features in a phone that's built to last."

Moto G4 has a rocking a 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD (1920 by 1080) display, this smartphone features a blazingly fast Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor, enabling the device to "run multiple apps without slowing down."

In terms of its memory and internal storage, it packs in 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB or 32 GB of internal storage. Those who require more storage should know that they can add a microSD card up to 128 GB.

It consists of Turbo Power charging which means users can have up to six hours of power in only 15 minutes of charging.

It is said to be user friendly, suggesting that customers can use it on any major carrier they want. Another perk the company is throwing in to sweeten the deal is a free two years' worth of storage with Google Photos at original quality.

With regard to its snapper, users expect the Moto G to feature a 13 megapixel main shooter with dual LED flash and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera.

Moto G4 comes in various accent colors. People can also choose the amount of memory and storage. The phone maker promises a "full day" of battery life for the device, thanks to its 3000 mAh battery. Of course, it runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

Moto G4 Plus

Moto G4 has a handy functionality, users can simply touch the reader to wake up and unlock their smartphone.

"Unlike some phones, Moto G4 Plus recognizes your fingerprint no matter which way you hold it," says Motorola.

Powered by a Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor, the Moto G4 Plus also has a 5.5-inch Full HD display to make pictures appear "sharp and lifelike," while games and videos "jump off the screen."

It features a 16 megapixel main shooter with dual LED flash and laser auto-focus along with a 5 megapixel front camera.

The phone is fitted with 2 GB or 4 GB of RAM and 16 GB or 64 GB of internal storage. As with the Moto G4 phone, owners can also add up to 128 GB more storage via its optional microSD card.

With Moto Maker, consumers can also choose an array of colors, accents, materials and more for their Moto G4 device. They can also quickly charge the battery with its TurboPower feature.

Furthermore, it packs in a 3000 mAh battery and comes with two years of Google Photos storage at original quality. It is also said to be compatible with any major carrier.

Needless to say, this one sports Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

Moto G4 Play

"More phone. More fun. Affordable as ever" — this is Motorola's official slogan for the Moto G4 Play.

Touting an 8 megapixel main shooter and 5 megapixel front-facing snapper, the phone is crammed with a Snapdragon 410 processor under its hood. As compared with the other two Moto G phones, this handset has a less powerful chipset, though the company says that users can still "have fun without slowing down" and can let them "switch back and forth between apps easily."

This phone also has a smaller battery as compared with the Moto G4 and G4 Plus. Though, of course, it also runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

As with the other two Moto G devices, it also comes with two years of Google Photos storage.

Storage-wise, it is fitted with 16 GB internal storage with up to 128 GB of microSD card support.

On top of that, the device is loaded with an 8 megapixel main camera and 5 megapixel shooter on its front.
