Technology: Motorola India is going to host a big event on coming Tuesday. The Company will launch its new smartphone Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus. In India, it will be available on e-commerce website Amazon. The company has revealed this on its Twitter handle.
“We have witnessed tremendous growth in the e-commerce market and it will continue to be the dominating channel for us as we bring new products to the India market. Amazon.in is the one of the best online marketplaces in India and we are glad to announce that we have exclusively partnered with Amazon India for our next Motorola smartphone,” said Motorola Mobility India’s country head Amit Boni.
The Moto G4 is a successor to the Moto G3, which was launched last year. It is likely to have a smaller screen – possibly 5 inches or 5.2 inches – while the G4 Plus version will have a 5.5-inch screen.
The Moto G4 phones will possibly have an octa-core processor inside them – the Snapdrgaon 615 is the usual suspect – and at least 2GB RAM. The two phones are also going to have fingerprint scanner on the front and improved camera performance.
With a 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing unit, connectivity options such as dual SIM card slots, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, WI-Fi and GPS could be present. The smartphones are expected to come in Black and White colour options with interchangeable back covers.
The Moto G4 and the G4 Plus are not the only two devices that Motorola will launch in the coming weeks. The company will also Launch Moto X at Lenovo Tech World event on June 9.
