NEW DELHI: Heavy Rain hit national capital Delhi and several nearby areas on Monday that led to the decrease in temperature.
On Monday, the minimum temperature was noted at 24 degrees Celsius, four marks below the season’s average temperature.
“The sky will remain generally cloudy. There is possibility of thunderstorm with rain,” an official stated.
He added that, Delhi witnessed 16.6 mm rain till 8.30am while the maximum temperature was recorded 35 degrees Celsius.
Till 8:30 am on Monday morning, the humidity level was recorded 95 per cent.
The maximum temperature of Delhi was noted 35.6 degrees Celsius, four notches below season’s average on Sunday. On the other hand, minimum temperature was noted 26.6 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season’s average on Sunday.
