The city experienced moderate rain on Thursday, running from 7 cm in Bandlaguda to 2 cm in Miralam. Malkajgiri and Viratnagar in Saroornagar announced 1 cm of rainfall.
Light showers were recorded in Madhapur, Asifnagar, Srinagar province, Musheerabad, Golconda, Amberpet, Tirmulgiri, Begumpet, Balanagar, Nampally, and Narayanguda.
The south-west storm has been dynamic over Telangana because of a cyclonic circulation prevailing over south coastal Odisha and abutting coastal Andhra Pradesh. Likewise, a trough is stretching out from this system up to South Konkan and Goa.
The climate forecast for the following couple of days is moderate showers more than a few sections of Telangana, including Hyderabad, joined by squally winds and rainstorm.
As the system will keep on persisting over the region, more spells of light to moderate showers with solid winds are likely on Friday also. As the rainstorm approaches, day temperatures will plunge and the climate will be more agreeable for the following a few days.
