New Delhi: Indian automobile manufacturer corporation Mahindra and Mahindra on Wednesday posted 16 per cent rise in the total domestic sales at 53,663 units for the September month. The corporation also further stated that it has sold 46,130 units in the similar month of previous year.
In the Indian market the total sales grew 19 per cent at 50,456 units previous month contrast to 42,545 units in the same month previous year. The export decreased by 11 per cent to 3,207 units in the September month as compared to 3,585 units in the same month last year.
The total passenger vehicles sales counting Scorpio, XUV500, Xylo, Bolero and Verito, increased 23 per cent to 25,327 units as contrast to 20,537 units in the September month of previous year. The corporation also further stated that the total commercial vehicle sales also increased by 19 per cent to 19,201 units for the September month as against 16,081 units for the similar month previous year.
M&M President Automotive Sector Rajan Wadhera also further conveyed that the automobile business observer floating demand in the September month because of the festive season and this has been observed mutually in urban and rural marketplace.
