A senior authority of Doordarshan, who was supposedly lost from New Delhi region, on Sunday returned home from a holy place in Rajasthan where he had abandoned advising his family, police said.
Jayant Kharche, posted as DDG (Deputy Director General) in the designing division of Doordarshan, returned home on Sunday at 5 PM in the wake of paying deference at Khichripur Balaji place of worship in Rajasthan, a senior cop said.
"Kharche is an introvert and is somewhat capricious. He exited for the place of worship without illuminating his family or office associates and returned today," he said.
Mr Kharche, who was lost since September 16, had left for a meeting from his office around twelve and had chosen to stroll to the venue since it was adjacent, the officer said.
In any case, he didn't reach there and his telephone was observed to be exchanged off after which his family had recorded a missing grumbling, he included.
