Country's biggest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) is hoping to dispatch the premium hatchback Baleno in new markets, including Caribbean Islands and South Africa, in the coming months as a feature of arrangements to trade the model to more than 100 countries.
The auto, which has effectively crossed the turning point of 1 lakh deals in the residential market, will likewise be sent to nations in Latin America, Middle East and South East Asia.
"In taking after months it (Baleno) will be propelled in Caribbean Islands, Uruguay, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Honduras, Panama, Peru, South Africa, Indonesia, Middle East nations like UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Lebanon, Qatar, Saudi Arabia," an organization representative told PTI.
MSI right now trades the auto to France, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Chile, Israel, England, Nepal, Bhutan, Austria and Australia.
Till date around 38,000 units of the model have been dispatched to these goals.
Baleno is the primary item from the MSI portfolio to be sent out to Japan where its parent organization Suzuki Motor Corporation (SMC) is based.
The organization and its supplier accomplices have put Rs 1,060 crore in the improvement of Baleno, which is being made at the organization's Manesar plant.
