New Delhi: Automobile manufacturer company Maruti Suzuki on Thursday posted a 9.5 per cent rise in total sales in India to 1,46,446 units for October as next to 1,33,793 units a year-before month.
The corporation further stated that the domestic sales stand at 1, 36,000 units, grew 9.9 per cent from 1,23,764 in October previous year. The Maruti Suzuki India further stated that sales of mini segment cars, counting Alto and WagonR, observed a 4.2 per cent reduction to 32,490 units throughout the month under review, from 33,929 in October 2016.
Nations main carmaker sales of the compact section including Swift, Estilo, Dzire and Baleno increased by 24.7 per cent to 62,480 units previous month as next to 50,116 in year-ago month. Domestic sales of sedan Ciaz drops by 35.4 per cent to 4,107 units throughout the month.
Utility vehicles sales, counting Gypsy, Grand Vitara, Ertiga, S-Cross and compact SUV Vitara Brezza grew by 29.8 per cent at 23,382 units for October month, from 18,008 in the similar month of last year.
The corporation further stated that exports in October increased 4.2 per cent to 10,446 units as contrast to 10,029 units in the similar month previous year.
