Manzoor Dar aka Pandav who will turn out for Kings Eleven Punjab in the upcoming IPL edition wants the euphoria over his selection to get over.

Hundreds of his supporters sang and danced outside Manzoor’s home in Sumbal village when his name went under an auction beamed live on television.

Infact, the owner of Kings XI Punjab team, Preity Zinta welcomed the cricketer by tweeting on Twitter.

Instead of getting mentioned in newspaper spaces and TV, the stocky cricketer is aware he has to ‘perform or perish’ in the big ticket league. Therefore has set himself a punishing schedule to get leaner and stronger.

“I spend more time on fitness in the gym, run a lot and exercise to add muscle to my limbs. This way I will generate more power to hit longer and add a yard to my pace,” said Mazoor.

He is quite thrilled to share dressing room with the star players like Aaron Finch, Chris Gayle, David Miller, R Ashwin, Yuvraj Singh and coach Virender Sehwag.

Talking about his initial hardwork, Manzoor and his family faced, he told that “Last week when I called my mother to give her the good news, she cried like a baby. She told me Allah has rewarded your hard work.”
