Manish Sisodia could be arrested before Punjab polls, says CM Arvind Kejriwal


New Delhi: On Monday Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal claimed that his deputy Manish Sisodia is probable to be detained before the Punjab elections. He also alleged that the Centre was manipulating former Comptroller and Auditor General V K Shunglu to put the AAP government in a spot.

“Jo pata chal raha hai, Shunglu Committee ne jaan boojh kar Manish (Sisodia) ko fasaane ki kosish ki hai… Shunglu ke upar DPS society ke president chunaav mein dhokha dhadi kar ke chairman banne ke liye ghaple ke aarop hai. DPS society mein paise ki hera pheri karne ke bhi aarop hai. (I have got to know that the Shunglu Committee has deliberately tried to trap Sisodia… Shunglu is facing allegation of rigging polls for the post of DPS society chairmanship. There are allegations that Shunglu has embezelled money from the society as well),” Kejriwal alleged.

The CM additionally guaranteed that a grumbling with respect to this was sent to the L-G and the Center in May 2015.

"Rather than following up on it, they called Shunglu and said you need to entangle this govt and we will spare you… Now, regardless of whatever he has composed, everybody realizes that we are a legitimate government.

We too have sources and have been informed that their next target is Sisodia. We respect this as our 15 MLAs have been captured yet we request that Shunglu too ought to be captured," requested the CM.

Kejriwal included that his adversaries will slap any fake charge to put Sisodia in a correctional facility. "What are the charges against our MLAs?," he inquired.

 Sources said the Shunglu panel report has dove into issues that were secured by the media on the asserted anomalies in arrangements crosswise over different Delhi government divisions.
