BENGALURU: The 35-year-old man who is a plumber by profession was arrested by the Subramanyapura police on Thursday for allegedly killing his two children at Beereshwaranagar in Subramanyapura on Wednesday morning. The charged, identified as Satish Kumar, was nabbed after some locals informed the police about a person moving suspiciously in blood-soaked clothes near Chunchunakatte.
The police was told by the accused Satish that his wife Jyothi over his drinking habits repeatedly held out divorce threats to him.
On Wednesday morning, Satish got frustrated by this daily melodrama and in anger he allegedly killed his two children Shiva Shankar (5) and Adithya (4) and fled from the spot.
Satish used to suspect his wife’s loyalty towards him and would often fight with his wife Jyothi over minor issues.
Satish On Tuesday night, came home drunk and had a small conflict with her. Soon, the minor verbal duel took an ugly turn and Satish started beating his wife. In this way, she alongside her two children went out found adjacent. At 10 am the following day, Sathish went to the nursery school and brought his two children home. He pummeled the senior child Shiva Shankar to death and choked his more youthful child Aditya, police sources said.
