Man Detained For Involvement In Killing of E-Rickshaw Driver In Delhi


A 25-year-old taxicab driver has been captured for his asserted contribution in the killing of an e-rickshaw driver outside the GTB Nagar Metro Station in Delhi a month ago.

This is the second capture for the situation that had widespread outrage with even Prime Minister Narendra Modi denouncing the killing and guiding the authorities to convey the guilty parties to book.

Prior, a 19-year-old Delhi University student was captured and an juvenile was captured.

The 32-year-old sufferer, Ravinder Kumar, was pounded the life out of by almost twelve men on May 27, hours after he had questioned two men urinating openly outside the metro station in northwest Delhi.

The third accused, Mehul Deda, was captured on June 4, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Northwest) Milind Mahadeo Dumbere.

Deda was a part of the group which had assaulted Ravinder Kumar with towels and stones.

He had been on the keep running since the episode. He had been covering up in Rishikesh however come back to Delhi after hhe got to know that Kapasia and the juvenile had been captured.

He imagined that the circumstance had facilitated now and chosen to restore, a cop said.

Police said that they were searching for the other charged. The captured duo will be addressed together to find out the personality of the other charged, police said.
