Mamata Banerjee walk 4 km to promote safe driving


West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee today walked four kilometres along with several Trinamool Congress leaders and ministers to promote safe driving.

As part of a road safety drive launched by the state government last month, Banerjee started her walk from Moulali crossing in central Kolkata and ended at Kolkata Mounted Police's ground at Esplande.

She was accompanied by TMC leaders Sovandeb Chatterjee, Sovan Chatterjee, Mukul Roy, Arup Biswas besides several Tollywood actors and actresses along with children from several schools.

At the end of the rally, she wished people happy "Raksha Bandhan".
