Malaysian powers say ship conveying diesel seized


An oil tanker conveying 900,000 liters of diesel has been captured and taken into Indonesian waters, Malaysian sea powers said on Tuesday.

The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) said in an announcement that the boat, Vier Harmoni, has been situated in the waters off Batam, Indonesia.

The MMEA said they have yet to affirm the character of the robbers. The boat, which cruised from the Tanjung Pelepas port in Malaysia on Monday, was conveying diesel with an expected estimation of 1.57 million ringgit ($392,795).
