The Malaysian police are researching the assault on Sri Lanka's agent to Malaysia at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport yesterday.
Examiner General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar affirmed the episode to the media and said that police were as of now following the culprits, The Star site reported.

The Foreign Ministry, in an announcement issued yesterday, censured the assault on the High Commissioner.
"The High Commission of Sri Lanka in Kuala Lumpur is planning with neighborhood law requirement prevailing voices in Malaysia and other pertinent nearby powers to distinguish culprits and help with examinations," said the announcement.
