New Delhi: Mahindra will finally launch its e-Verito electric sedan on June 2 in India at an event in New Delhi. Mahindra had showcased the e-Verito at the Auto Expo this year. The e-Verito is expected to cost between Rs 7-8 lakhs.
It runs on a 72V 3-phase AC induction motor and is capable of delivering a maximum of 30.5 kW (41 hp) at 3,500 rpm and a torque of 91 Nm at 3,000 rpm. The car can attain a maximum speed of 86 kmph.
It has disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. The e-Verito measures 4,277 mm in length, 1,740 mm in width, and 1,540 mm in height.
The car comes with 185/70 R14 tubeless tyres, roof rails, 10-spoke alloy wheels, chrome grille and has a wheelbase of 2,630 mm.The e-Verito's battery takes around 8 hours to fully charge and the company claims that it's capable of traveling 100 kms on one full charge. The top end D6 trim model will have fast charging capabilities and a promised charging time of around 6 hours.
