Mahindra e-Verito launched in India at Rs 9.50 lakh


New Delhi: Mahindra & Mahindra has launched its new e-Verito the electric version of Verito sedan in Indian market on Thursday. Mahindra e-Verito is priced between Rs 9.5 lakh and 10 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The eVerito will be available in key cities, such as New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Jaipur and Nagpur, with immediate effect with three variants – D2, D4 and D6.

The car, which would be available in three variants, is priced at Rs 9.5 lakh, Rs 9.75 lakh and Rs 10 lakh. It can be charged in 1.45 hours and has a range of 110 kms. 

“The eVerito is the first electric sedan in our portfolio. With issues like environmental degradation, pollution related challenges, climate change and energy security there has never been a better time to switch to electric vehicles,” Pravin Shah, M&M president and chief.

The single speed transmission vehicle can be charged at home as well as quick charged in one hour and 45 minutes through fast charging technology. The e-Verito is only the second full electric vehicle launched in the country and as such has no direct competition in its segment.
