"On the off chance that we call your name and you are not here to acknowledge, the Emmy goes to the following name on the rundown. It's known as the Maggie Smith Rule," he included.
Smith's announcement, formally tolerating her honor, was posted on Twitter record of Masterpiece PBS.
"I was exceptionally flabbergasted and satisfied to win the honor. I feel the Emmys has been excessively liberal to me. On the off chance that Mr Kimmel could please guide me to the lost and discovered office I will attempt and be on the following flight," the on-screen character composed, marking the note 'Old Maggie'.
