South Korean company LG is ready to unveil V 30 handset in the market soon. The cellphone will include 6-inch display that is likely to be plastic OLED FullVision display.
Coming to its specifications, the handset involves 6-inch QHD+ OLED FullVision screen display that comes with a pixel resolution of 2880 x 1440. The smartphone comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 that includes shatter-resistant technology.
The handset involves plastic OLED technology recognized as P-OLED. This technology is formed by placing pixels on a plastic substrate that is powerful than a glass base.
“Using advanced encapsulation and pixel-scanning technology, the burn-in problem that has affected OLED technology in the past has been all but eliminated in the P-OLED technology in LG’s upcoming device. Encapsulation significantly reduces oxidation of the pixels and LG’s pixel-scanning technology allows for less energy to be applied to each pixel, also saving battery power,” the company stated.
LG V30 is likely to be unveiled on August 31 at IFA 2017 that will take place in Berlin. The handset will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor clocked at 1.9GHz. It includes 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
