South Korean maker LG now introduced its new LG K8 (2017) in India and is priced at Rs. 11,000. The smartphone has been made accessible in Gold and Blue colour versions. The smartphone has been listed on its online store whereas there is no official declaration from LG, the website mentions that the smartphone is accessible in offline stores.
The LG K8 (2017) is the successor of the LG K8 unveiled previous year in March. This smartphone has a better camera, fingerprint scanning support, 4G VoLTE support and dissimilar design aesthetic. It sports a fingerprint scanner at the back below the camera sensor and the LG logo at the front and the back. The speaker is at the rear end and the front panel has enough bezels with on screen navigation buttons. It has a 3.5mm audio jack on top and the volume keys sit on the left edge.
Talking about the features, the new LG K8 (2017) smartphone runs on the dated Android Marshmallow. It supports dual-SIM (Nano+Nano) slots and also has a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display. It is motorized by the 1.25GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. Internal storage space is at 16GB with the option to expand further using a microSD card (up to 200GB).
It offers a 13-megapixel rear sensor with autofocus, f/2.2 aperture and flash support. At the front, there is 5-megapixel sensor for selfies, video chats and packs a 2500mAh battery. Connectivity options comprise 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi Direct, and AGPS. Sensors on board comprise proximity and accelerometer.
