Turku: At least 2 people killed and 6 other injured on Friday in the Finnish city of Turku. Police officials shot and injured a suspect following a stabbing spree. Hours within the security force had declared augmented police patrols crossways the nation.
Turku police stated following the attack in a market square that there are eight victims in the stabbing in which 2 killed and 6 other wounded. Police shot a suspect in minutes following the assault at another square close, detaining him and removing his knife.
Police conveyed that his identity has not been recognized nor was the motive for the assault. Police portrayed the suspect in custody as “a young man of foreign origin”. The assault occurred in southwestern Finland, just following 4:00 pm (1300 GMT) in a bustling neighbourhood.
