New Delhi: Along the border standoff with China in Doklam, Defence Minister Arun Jaitley on Thursday conveyed that the Indian security forces are powerful enough to convene any challenge to the nation’s security. Defence Minister also conveyed that the people of the nation wish to retrieve parts of Jammu & Kashmir that have been taken by Pakistan since 1948.

The remark came as Jaitley was starting a special debate in the Rajya Sabha to blotch the 75th anniversary of the Quit India Movement introduced by Mahatma Gandhi in 1942.
Reminding events linked to the movement, head of opposition Ghulam Nabi Azad took a dig at the ruling BJP. He further added that, previous night was eventful like the night of 8 August 1942. I don’t want to go into details, as Congress leader Ahmed Patel directed to win a thrilling contest next to BJP.
Azad conveyed that the leader of the freedom movement had underscored on unity among various groups. He said the Quit India Movement never observed any mob as Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru had looked for unity among Hindus and Muslims. Jaitley, underlined that diverse religions and stations are a fundamental piece of the nation.
He said it is essential to keep up agreement in the nation and there ought to be no place in the nation for brutality for the sake of legislative issues, religion and fear based oppression. He said India had “learnt a lesson” from the 1962 war with China that “the military should be made completely competent all alone in light of the fact that even today the country confronts challenges from our neighboring nations.”
