Panaji: Goa Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar on Sunday Condemned the terror attack on an armed force camp in Uri in Jammu and Kashmir, in which 17 troopers were killed. He likewise requested that the focal government react to the assault.
"What has happened is most unfortunate. It should not have happened and I condemn it. I think the government of India needs to be little more offensive in this regard… Government should see that adequate measures are adopted to see that such things don't happen in the future," Mr Parsekar told reporters in Panaji.
Barrier Minister Manohar Parrikar, who needed to stop his Goa visit, is relied upon to land in Uri later Sunday.
