Kota: Uncontrolled tractor rammed house wall, 3 killed


Kota: A horrific incident occurred in Kota on Sunday night when a speeding tractor hits the wall of house causing wall to collapse over the family sleeping inside the room in Thandawad village of Eklera police station of Jhalawar. In the mishap 3 minor girls of age 4 to 6 were killed and 3 other wounded.

Police officials conveyed that the bodies of deceased following post-mortem were handed over to the family members and other 3 wounded are undergoing treatment in administration hospital in Jhalawar. Following accident, the tractor driver ran away from the spot.

SHO, Eklera police station, Hemraj Mund also conveyed that the minor daughters and other family members of Babulal Meena, resident of Thanawad village on Sunday night were sleeping in room when suddenly a speeding tractor hits the wall of house after which the wall with roof collapsed over the family.

Minor girls recognized as Arushi, Meesa and Mikki, were obscured under the wreckage and killed while 3 other counting 1 minor injured. The accident occurred at around 11.30 pm. The accused tractor recognized as Hansraj Meena was ploughing field when suddenly he lost control on it. Police officials filed a case of negligent driving against the accused driver and further investigation into the matter is on.
